Aromatherapy and Massage(full or half body)
Most people will be familiar with the benefits of massage. The use of aromatherapy oils aids the relaxing effects of the massage. Aromatherapy uses the purest plant essence in the form of organic essential oils, which are extracts from various parts of plants, fruits, flowers, bark, roots, or resin. Essential oils contain various natural beneficial properties. Due to the diversity of essential oils, the range of benefits and effects of Aromatherapy treatments is wide ranging. You can choose between a half or full body massage. A half body massage covers the head, back and shoulders, and takes about 30 minutes. A full body massage is the same as the half body massage plus the arms and legs are also covered, and it takes about one hour. The Aromatherapy Massage treatmentWhen coming for a treatment, you will be asked about any allergies that you have, so that the correct oils can be chosen for you. Depending on the aim of the treatment, or how you are feeling on the day, a mix of one or more oils can be added to the carrier oil, which is a neutral oil in which the essential oils are diluted. If you are receiving a half body massage you will need to strip to the waist. If you are receiving a full body massage, you will need to strip to your pants/underpants. If you are not comfortable with this but would still like to receive a massage, please talk to your therapist. For the treatment you will lie on a couch, with a towel over the parts that are not being treated. Discretion is assured at all times. What can an Aromatherapy Massage do for you?Aromatherapy treatments have both physiological and psychological effects. The combination of massage and the medicinal and therapeutic qualities of essential oils can soothe, revitalise, uplift the spirit, encourage positive thinking and boost the immune system enabling the body to heal itself.
